Alandi Ayurveda Gurukula’s Mission & Purpose

Mission

To train caring, compassionate Master Ayurvedic Practitioners rooted in the Vedic teachings.

Purpose

We seek to graduate Master Ayurvedic Practitioners endowed with excellent clinical competency and in-depth knowledge of Ayurveda. To this end, we continually develop our methods of teaching and evaluation to meet these aspirations. We cultivate the seeds of stillness, altruism and compassionate service in our student apprentices’ hearts. Honoring the multiple gifts brought by our student apprentices’ diversity of learning and experience, we see our student apprentices as both teachers and learners. We encourage the creation of a community of sharing and support on all levels. Through the nurturing, rich, and challenging atmosphere of the gurukula, student apprentices will blossom in their personal understandings, interpersonal skills and spiritual practice, as well as in their competence in Ayurveda.
